An Introduction - 12/15/2006 21:24 -0500

Well, I've finally gone and joined the BLOG world. In the upcoming days, weeks, months
and (hopefully) years this will be the location for my sounding board on true crime
related news. Whether it's local or on the other side of the world if I find the topic
worth covering you'll find something here.
The comments won't be taking place every day just when I need to rant/rave or
ramble. Which seems to be happening quite often lately! So stay tuned.

December 12, 2006 - Here in Canada we have a Political party called the
New Democratic Party (NDP) and their goal in life, it seems lately, is to disagree
with the ruling party no matter what the topic. Currently the NDP leader,
Jack Layton, wants to pull the Canadian Forces out of Afghanistan (not Iraq,
Afghanistan). This gets me so angry that Layton could be SO blind and
ignorant as to why the Canadian forces are there in the first place! We are not
there to plunder the land, we are there to STOP a psychotic group
(the Taliban) from systemically destroying their people, their women, even
their history. It is so shameful that Layton and his group are leading this charge.
I can't for the life of me figure out their reasoning. It makes no sense yet they
continue to push and push and push for a withdrawl. Mr. Layton Canadian
soldiers have died for the Afghanis and YOU are telling the Canadian public
that they have died for nothing. How dare you. These soldiers have given the
ultimate one can to protect and prevent total choas, and they continue
to do so. Smarten up Mr. Layton. The Canadian forces are there to do an
important and much needed job. Putting your own political agenda before the lives
of thousands is really low. I'm not sure what is worse, the murderers or
the ones who allow them to murder.
